Dare to Be

I borrowed this quote from the Dare to Be website:
"Do you remember when you were younger and you would use the expression "I dare you" . All across the world children dare one another to take on new challenges, they put on a superhero costume and dream of saving the world. You had no awareness of your limitations then, you 'Dared to Be'.
So now we are older the language of 'dare' seems less familiar. Now we have become the ones that warn our children not to take the dare as we urge caution. But dares grow you, they challenge and test you, isn't God's word a constant call to dare, daring us to trust him, to help others and to go beyond?
'Dare to Be' is an event for women to come together and once more 'Dare to Be' all God has equipped each one to be. We want to dare you to aim higher, to stretch further, to trust. You can do more than you realize.
Together we will dare you to be all He made us to be, to fight injustice, to be a voice of hope and change and to dream. We know this is going to be one of those don't miss moments. So we Dare you to Be!"
Mom gifted Beth and I tickets to the Dare to Be event at her church, Crosspoint Church for Mother's Day. Natalie Grant is my favorite Christian singer. So, I was thrilled to say the least. Aunt Lynn and Abby joined us and it was an inspriring evening.
