About you at 3
Your hair is a light brown with an auburn tint. You can see the red when we let your hair grow out and everyone comments on how pretty it is. Since we buzzed your hair for summer and like it, swe keep it pretty short. You are quite the talker and are alway asking why. You're very active unless you are sick. You have not started throwing fits. I have heard about that the threes can be worse than the twos. I hope not. You are very good-natured.
You are a good eater. You will eat most vegetables and fruit, but not much meat. Only hot dogs, chicken nuggets and fish sticks. You eat ketchup with everything! You drink milk, juice and water. But your very favorite is chocolate milk. Gramma Becky bought us your first box of Nesquik and you were hooked!
You love to watch Little Einsteins and Octonauts on television and your favorite movies are still Toy Story. You like to pretend to be different things-a superhero, a builder, a doctor. You love playing sports with your Daddy, inside and outside. You prefer to be outside and I love that they take you outside a lot at school.
You are in Ms. Barbie's class at Victory Children's Center and your best buddy is Lincoln. You and he are like 2 peas in a pod. He cries when I pick you up from school in the afternoon. Your favorite song is Going On a Bear Hunt. Ms. Barbie has a cd and you guys sing it every day. You know all your shapes and colors. Ms. Joan from Parents as Teachers came for the last time and she said you are right on track!
You are still sleeping in your crib. You have never once tried to climb out of it. You just call us when you wake up. You have no interest in pottying training. We tried a little over Christmas break, but you wanted nothing to do with it! So, we will wait until summer.

Love this boy...
It is hard to believe my sweet boy is 3 years old. Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from Minnesota and everyone could not wait to meet him. I love this age and how he is learning new things all the time!
Just the other, I was rocking him before bed. He always likes for me to have my robe on and will tell me to get it. I didn't for some reason that night and he looked up at me, pointed to my collarbone and said, "Mommy, you crunchy." I guess my collarbone was sticking out and not comfortable for him. Hilarious-our little man is!

Bounce U Fun!
We invited Lincoln to play at Bounce U on Saturday. Grandma Becky had given us a Groupon(love those) and so they both played for free. Camden was a crazy man and climbed on everything. Lincoln was a little more reserved and didn't like the bouncy things as much. The boys play so well together. I am glad Camden and Lincoln have had each other for their first year of preschool together.
A Toy Story 3rd Birthday
Camden wanted a Toy Story party for his 3rd birthday. We had his party at Gamma and Papa's. Mommy made all of your decorations. You had a great time and got lots of gifts, including your first tricyle from Gamma and Papa. Happy 3rd Birthday, sweet boy! We love you.

Homemade Creations
What else do you do on a snow day(after playing in the snow), but make pretend roads our of cardboard and some painter's tape... It was well worth the time spent-Camden played on his homemade roads with all his cars and trucks for quite some time.

Snow Much Fun...
Our first snow day of 2012 was on Camden's birthday just like last year! Mommy hopes this tradition continues. It's fun to have the day off with my boys! This snow was not so perfect for making a snowman, but almost. It was funny trying to watch Todd show Camden how to pack the snow into a ball. We had a good time playing in the snow, but Camden gets a little annoyed at all the "stuff" I make him wear to go out and play.
I almost forgot to take a picture of our first little snowman this year!

Help?
Camden is very into helping. He likes to "help" us unpack the groceries. Although it is more of a hindrance than a help, we try to include him. This time, though, he got a little distracted by stacking the groceries.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year 2012! Aunt Beth came over on New Year's Eve and brought this hat. She didn't realize until you put it on that it didn't say Happy New Year. Silly Aunt Bef!
