This too shall pass...

So, unfortunately, Jaden is going through a bit of phase right now where he is super attached to Mommy. He stands right beside me and just cried for me to pick him up. He will pull on my pants and grab my leg. It is quite pitiful. If I take him in the living room and put him down, he lays down on the floor and cries. I keep telling myself that 14 months is a little young for a fit, but sometimes I do wonder. He is only happy if I am sitting on the floor in the living room. So, needless to say, I haven't been getting much accomplished until after he goes to bed. But I am trying to remember that this is only a phase and should (hopefully) be over quickly. I am also doing a lot of praying for tolerance.

Family Night at the Football Game

We may have a new tradition-bringing the family to Friday night football games. It was so fun having Mom, Dad and Sis with Camden and I at the game this past week, especially since it was an away game at Festus. Camden loved the extra entertainment. Mom and Dad really get into football and Hillsboro beat Festus 50-36!

Back to school time

It's surprises like these that make my day! Todd had left this message for me hidden behind a poster while he was helping me in my room and I found it a few days later when I moved the poster. Then, Mom brought me this plant on our first work day this year. I am blessed to be loved by these two!

My Momma the Hostess

Momma has always been a great hostess, but she outdid herself this year for the Bailey Christmas. The house was decorated so beautifully and the food was amazing. We all brought finger foods and had enough food for an army! I am so proud that this amazing gracious lady is my momma!!(Just wish I would have gotten a picture of her-all I caught is her back in a few pictures.)

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!

This past Sunday, my parents celebrated being married for 40 years!! I love them both dearly and am so proud of them. They are an amazing example of a good Christian marriage. I am grateful for the sacrifices they have made and hope they have 40 more years of happiness! Happy 40th Anniversary, Mom and Dad!
