Gotta Love Freebies

Dad's work, Fabick, gave away free tickets to some St. Louis Billikens games and Dad was able to get some for us. Camden is really into basketball right now and I know he would love it. Todd and I are really trying to make it a point to spend some one on one tie with Camden since we have to give so much attention on a daily basis to Jaden. It was a fun afternoon making more memories.

Go Cards!

Beth Ann's sister Lisa hosted a super fun St. Louis Cardinals themed engagement party for Beth and Matt. We had a babysitter scheduled, but since she had to cancel, we ended up taking the boys. We had a good time and the boys were WORN out! They both fell asleep on the long ride home from O'Fallon. I am so happy that my lifelong friend has found someone to share her life with. And she LOVED her gift!

Safe

I love this man! He is my rock. I cannot say enough good things about him. We have been married for 11 years today! I am so blessed to have him as my husband. When life is stressful, I can always depend on him. We were driving in the car the other day when he reached for my hand and this thought crossed my mind, He makes me feel so safe! He is the first one I want to call to share news whether happy or sad, he is who holds me when I am sad or stressed. He knows me better than anyone and he prays for me. He can tell how I am feeling just by looking at me. Our marriage is far from perfect and yes, we may argue. But I know we are both love God, are committed to this relationship and have each other's backs. I so wish his mom and dad could see the man he has become-they would be so proud. And there are days I wish I could tell them how awesome he is and how thankful I am that they raised such an amazing man. He is a great leader of our little family. We have known each other for 13 years and have been married for 11 years. We may not have been able to celebrate our anniversary in any extravagant way, but that isn't important. I love you more that ever, Todd!

He finally found the toilet paper...

I know this day was coming. I remember when Camden discovered the toilet paper. It was like he had found a new toy! Well, I accidentally left the bathroom door open the other day and Jaden made a beeline to get in. When I came around the corner, he had started unrolling the toilet paper and was giggling. I called Camden to come look and quickly got the camera.

Kindergarten Basketball

One of your PE teacher and Daddy's friend, Coach Goodwin decided to have a kindergarten basketball team at Pevely this year. His son Chase is one of your best buddies. You practiced on Saturdays from 10:00-11:00 and then would play from 11:00-11:30. You cracked us up at first because you are so used to playing football with Daddy that you would forget to dribble. You would carry the basketball down the court. This team was a lot of fun and hopefully, we can do it again next year. On the last Saturday, Coach had family day and moms and dads did drills and played with the kids.

Mother and Son Night

Camden and Mommy's school PTO hosted a Mother/Son game night tonight. Camden and I played Minute to Win It games and had nachos and ice cream. The night ended with a big dodgeball game between mommies and their boys. We had a lot of laughs and fun playing the games together. I love spending time with my "first" boy!

Walking Adventures

I love capturing these everyday moments of my little family. The weather wasn't particularly nice on this day, but Jaden's mood called for some time out of the house. So, we bundled up and off we went! 

Wal-Mart

We had quite possibly the slowest checker in Wal-Mart history today. I was really glad Daddy is part comedian and was able entertain J Bear with his bubble blowing abilities.

Growing Up TOO Fast

When I look at this picture of Jaden, my heart just stops. He is losing his baby look and looking more and more like a big boy. I love watching him grow and learn, but some days I just want him to stay little. This sweet second child of mine can frustrate me to no end, but he is simply adorable and I am so glad God let me be his mommy.
