July Fourth

I love that holidays are spent with family. We may not do anything super excited, but we are together and that is all that matters. Happy 4th!

Fun on the Fourth

We celebrated July 4th with the Bates' family for the 3rd year in a row, I think. I guess you know what this means, Matt and Renee, right? It's a tradition. :) It was a lazy kind of day and I didn't even get my camera out. Just phone pictures were good enough for me. Love simple days!

A Happy 4th

We had a fun-filled Fourth of July yesterday! We started out at the Desoto parade. We have never been, but decided at the last minute to go. It was a simple, small town parade, but Camden was excited to see all the firetrucks and get some candy. We found a perfect spot in the shade and stayed pretty cool.

After that, we headed to Mom and Dad's for BBQ with the family. As usual, the food was delicious and the company was just as fun! After lunch, Gamma had a surprise! She had a Slip 'n Slide for the kids. And if you know my parent's front yard, it is a perfect spot for a Slip 'N Slide. The kids wore themselves out!

But the day wasn't over yet, we ended the day at the Bates' with swimming and fireworks. We had such a great day with great people!
