Success

Gramma Becky, this is for you.

Mr. Independent wants to empty it himself...

More of it ended up on the floor than in the toilet, but it's about fighting your battles, right?

Today has been a good day as far as potty training goes. More peeing on the potty than accidents. We love seeing how excited he gets to show us when he goes.
After he went for the first time yesterday, Todd and I were cheering, "Yay! Camden!!" In the sweetest little voice, he looked up at us and said, "I'm a winner!" Todd and I cracked up. Yes, buddy, you are a winner! So proud of you, Little Man.

To the Rescue(or Rec-q)

Camden, you amaze me every single day. Your imagination is incredible. You always say, "I pretending." You will come in whichever room I am in and say "I firefighter. What's the problem?" I will then say "Oh, my kitten is stuck in the tree or there is a big fire on my bed." You will then go 'To the rec-q!!" That's exactly how you say it To the rec-q... On any given day, you are a firefighter, a band conductor, a chef, a construction worker, a superhero, a Mommy(yes, Daddy this is okay at his age), a knight or a dinosaur.

I love watching you pretend and hope your imagination continues to grow!!
I am so blessed to be your Mommy.

Potty Training....

Our first few days of summer have looked a little something like this:

We are potty training Little Man. He is being very sweet about sitting on the potty but has not gone in it yet.

I am trying to remember, with the help of my very good friend who has potty trained lots of little ones, that this is a process. We are only on Day 2....

Memorial Day

The Medley 3 spent a fun Memorial Day with the Bates 3 at Matt's parents house. We swam, ate barbeque, played a family game of softball, celebrated Todd and Matt's birthdays and played with Jasmine, Amanda's new dog. New memories with old friends!

Mother's Day

Todd took these pictures before we headed to church on Mother's Day. Luckily, my sweet boy was in a good mood. I can honestly say I love being Mommy to this adorable boy. No, I am not perfect and I make so many mistakes. But, Camden, my prayer is that you always know how very much you are loved and how Daddy and I prayed for you! We pray that you will grow up to be a courageous man of God!

Todd's birthday

While we were celebrating Todd's birthday, Dad brought out the sprinkler to entertain Emmy and Camden. They loved it! The weather was hot enough that they kept cooled off and busy, so we could talk! Happy 40th Birthday to my amazing husband and Camden's super daddy!
