Boots
My Facebook post:
When you look at this picture, most of you just
see two little pairs of boots. But to me, this picture represents so much more.
These two little pairs of boots remind me of the days I longed to be a mommy
and God's faithfulness in granting the deepest desire of my heart. I know some
of my friends and family are in that same place and I want you to know-He hears
you. Don't give up! Our God is amazing and can work miracles. He truly is
faithful.

Cruella Deville??!!
Feeling blessed this morning even if my Little Man told me I looked like the lady in the spotted dog movie when the dogs kept escaping...um, pretty sure, he's talking about Cruella Deville. Guess I won't be curling my hair again! Haha!
I had to add this one because this is truly how life in in our household! But I wouldn't trade it for anything-I love it.

Donut Date
This Monday morning, it was just me and my buddy running errands, so we had an impromptu donut date. I love this super talkative, very energetic boy and his imagination. I am blessed to be his momma!

Ok, strep, you win...I give up!
Last Thursday, I woke up with a super swollen throat and knew immediately I probably had strep throat. So, I called in for a sub and headed to the take care clinic. Sure enough, strep test was positive, so I started on amoxicillin and thought within a day or two I'd be feeling better! Not so. By Sunday, I was worse and when Mom and Dad came down, they insisted Todd take me to the emergency room. I could barely swallow and was miserable! Apparently, the strep had turned into a tonsillar abcess. They gave me steroids, stronger antibiotics, nausea meds and fluids by IV and told me to schedule an appointment with an ear, nose and throat doctor. I saw Dr. Gould today and he lanced the tonsil abcess and it was the grossest thing I had ever smelled. The pain was pretty bad but I immediately felt relief. This momma so ready to be able to eat and drink like normal and to have my normal energy back. Taking care of three boys requires lots of energy!

Mother and Son Night
Camden and Mommy's school PTO hosted a Mother/Son game night tonight. Camden and I played Minute to Win It games and had nachos and ice cream. The night ended with a big dodgeball game between mommies and their boys. We had a lot of laughs and fun playing the games together. I love spending time with my "first" boy!

Fish Eye Fun
When Daddy was Santa at Hillsboro, Fish Eye Fun had a photo booth there and took these pictures of the boys and I. We laughed that Jaden has a deer in the headlights look in all of them. Camden and I had fun trying on all the props.

Just because
My Facebook post from today:
Because even though there is laundry to be folded, dishes to be cleaned and papers to be graded, I can't resist his sweet voice saying, "Mommy, will you color with me?"

Look, Mom...
Nothing melts my heart more than his smile. He came running in the house yelling, "Look, Mom I found you some flowers." An expensive bouquet doesn't hold a candle to these 3 dandelions. I love my sweet boy!

Comfort Zone
I am learning slowly to play like the boys. Camden prefers his dad and often, I hear: "Mommy, you can't play because you are fragile." HA! (Well, I do squeal when they try to wrestle with me.) But I am trying to step outside my comfort zone because I know these moments will be gone before I know it.
