You can guarantee you will hear those words at least once when Camden sees his Papa. That is Dad and Camden's special bond-telling stories. And boy, does Papa tell good stories. He makes them up as he goes! And they can get quite lengthy too. Camden loves his Papa! Funny story about this photo-Mom, Todd and I were talking in the kitchen and Dad started clapping. We looked over and he said I think this would be a good picture. And he was right.

Nick's Art Show
Nicholas is quite the little artist. He invited us to go to his art show at Windsor Elementary. He enjoys showing us around and we saw some really neat art projects. It was a little difficult to keep up with you and make sure you didn't touch everything.

Easter 2012
Camden was excited to see that the Easter Bunny had visited and left him some goodies. I love the sleepy look on his face. He had lots of books, some bath colors tablets, a new cup, a new Bible story book, a Lego helipcopter, and of coursse, jelly beans.
Since everyone is busy with church on Easter Sunday, we had Easter dinner at Papa and Gamma's on Saturday. Papa hid lots of eggs for you, Alex, Emmy and Nick to find. Nick and Alex took off but would yell back to you, "Camden, here's one." They told me they left the easy to find ones for you.

Dancin' in the Rain
We love when it starts to get warm outside because you so enjoy being outside! You, Daddy and I were outside and I took this picture of Daddy telling you a story.
The next thing I knew, it had started to sprinkle and this is what I looked up and saw:
I love that your Daddy danced in the rain with you. It's moments like this that you will remember!

Dare to Be
I borrowed this quote from the Dare to Be website:
"Do you remember when you were younger and you would use the expression "I dare you" . All across the world children dare one another to take on new challenges, they put on a superhero costume and dream of saving the world. You had no awareness of your limitations then, you 'Dared to Be'.
So now we are older the language of 'dare' seems less familiar. Now we have become the ones that warn our children not to take the dare as we urge caution. But dares grow you, they challenge and test you, isn't God's word a constant call to dare, daring us to trust him, to help others and to go beyond?
'Dare to Be' is an event for women to come together and once more 'Dare to Be' all God has equipped each one to be. We want to dare you to aim higher, to stretch further, to trust. You can do more than you realize.
Together we will dare you to be all He made us to be, to fight injustice, to be a voice of hope and change and to dream. We know this is going to be one of those don't miss moments. So we Dare you to Be!"
Mom gifted Beth and I tickets to the Dare to Be event at her church, Crosspoint Church for Mother's Day. Natalie Grant is my favorite Christian singer. So, I was thrilled to say the least. Aunt Lynn and Abby joined us and it was an inspriring evening.

Papa's boy
My dad was an amzing father, but nothing prepared me to see him as a Papa. He loves Nick, Emmy and Camden and plays such an active role in their lives. He is NEVER too busy for them. His first words when Papa got home from work today were, "Papa, we go for ride on go-cart?" And sure enough, Dad didn't even change clothes-just fired the go-cart and off they went! Camden, you are so blessed to have such a wonderful Papa-he is truly a blessing.
Old Friends
You and Macy are old friends. Jenny watched both of you while Mommy and Macy's mommy were at work. Your Nana Barb and Macy's Mawmaw were best friends and Mommy's also teaches with Sherry, Macy's mommy. So, it is neat that you are growing up together. Mommy had brought you back by school to pick something up and Macy spotted you. I got this cute picture of the two of you.
