5 months

You are still such a happy baby. You started on cereal this month and once you figured out how to swallow it, you really like it! Caren gives you cereal at breakfast and then Mommy feeds you ceral before bed.
This month, you had a frenotomy-a fancy term for having your tongue clipped. You were tongue tied. We never realized how tight your tongue was until seeing you move it all around now. This made it alot easier for you eat cereal.
You finally have rolled from your belly to your back, but you usually only will do it first in the morning. We are working on sitting up, but Grandma says you have round bottom syndrome. You either lean to the left or right until you fall over or you fall forward.
You have outgrown all your clothes, so Mommy had to get out the 6 month clothes already. Such a big boy!
You have started reaching for your toys and of course, everything goes into your mouth! Your favorite toy is your crinkly book.

I can't tell you how much joy it brings me to get pictures like this from Caren. She is truly a blessing in our lives and we are so lucky to have her as Jaden's babysitter. I know he is loved on and I never worry about him when he is with her. 

His Wife's Birthday...

Camden and I spend a fun Saturday afternoon celebrating sweet Lucy and Maggie's birthdays. The weather was iffy but the rain held off and we had a great time singing with Brian and Terri from Kindersongs. And of course, Camden and Lucy had to reenact their "wedding" on the bridge. Oh, these two!

Fffffeeerrrrnnnnttt!!!!!

That sound is heard often at our house. That's the sound you hear when the Blues score. Only at our house, it's Daddy and Camden playing. I just love Camden's imagination. He wanted to play goalie and came up with this outfit all on his own!

Tough Little Cookie

 Mommy's sweet boy has had a rough few days. Last week, he was fighting the same stomach bug as Daddy. Then, on Friday, he had his 4 month checkup and shots. Dr. Schnidman told us he had the beginning of double ear infections. To top it all off, he got a virus over the weekend and ran a fever. This momma will be glad when winter and its germs are GONE!

We made our usual deviled eggs for Easter and of course, Camden wanted to help. With a little encouragement from me, Todd handed over the Pampered Chef Easy Decorator and Camden had a ball!
