Third Grade Fun Day
I am very blessed to work with a great team of teachers. We get along well and have fun at work each day. We had a fun day hanging out at Regina's "farm" as we call it. It was a beautiful day-we had planned to swim but believe or not, it was too cold! Jaden and Kellen were happy babies and even napped in their strollers.

"Bible School and the Blueberry"
Lincoln invited Camden to attend Vacation Bible School with him at First Baptist Church in Desoto this week. These two are such goofballs and have SO much fun together. I dropped them off the first day, but Camden insisted he wanted to ride the Blueberry to Lincoln's house every day. The Blueberry is a big blue and white bus named Madame Blueberry like in Veggie Tales. So, I gave in and let him. (Now, I did meet the bus driver while dropping the boys off and felt very comfortable with him which helped.) I was so impressed with how organized it was and how much fun Camden had. He learned so much and loved "Bible School" as he called it.

His First Cardinals Game
We were gifted some baseball tickets for last night's game against the Pirates. Todd and I will be the first to tell you, we are not huge baseball fans, but who passes up free tickets? Camden had never been to Busch Stadium and Nick had been wanting to go, so off the four of us went.
As we were sitting there waiting for the first pitch, we noticed the sky start to cloud up. Yep, the game was delayed until 8:00pm due to the impending severe weather. We finally get the game started after 8, they played one inning and it started to sprinkle. Out comes the tarp. Boo! This happened three times and I was getting annoyed. Poor Camden was not impressed either. The game was more of a pitching duel-no runs were scored until the 9th inning. Needless to say, we made it until about 10:00pm and decided to call it a night. We were happy to hear that the Cardinals did win 1-0 finally. And.....that's enough baseball to last this girl until next year!

Silver Dollar City
Now, it is nearly impossible to be in Branson with out going to Silver Dollar City. Ha! Grandma graciously agreed to keep Baby Bear at the house while the rest of us went. To get the most bang for our buck, we went after 3pm so we could get in the next day free.

7 months old
Mommy is loving being at home with you this summer! You still go to Caren's three days a week to hold your spot and to keep you in the routine. But you are growing so fast and changing each day. You are now rolling all over the place. You still really like your bath and now will fight Mommy for the washcloth. So, I usually give you your own to play with. You have developed a new skill that we aren't too fond of and that is spitting your food.
You are getting ready to crawl. You will get up on your knees and rock back and forth. Then you just lunge face first. You will roll or lunge to get to whatever toy you want. Big brother is quickly realizing that his MegaBlocks are just about your size. He isn't too happy about that. We are still working on sitting up on your own.
You were doing really good at sleeping through the night until vacation. That really messed up your schedule. It took us about a week to get you back on track. You sleep from about 8:30 pm to 7:30 am. You take a morning nap and an afternoon nap then most days, you need a short 30 minute catnap between 5-6pm.
You are still such a happy pleasant baby. You have been teething some this month, so Mommy got some Oragel and teething tablets. You really have been gnawing on your toys, but still no teeth.
You are eating food with every meal. You get cereal and half a fruit for breakfast with a bottle. Lunch is half veggie half fruit and another bottle. Then, usually a dinner or veggie for dinner and cereal again at bedtime-both with bottles.
You really don't liked to be rocked to sleep, but sometimes if you are super tired, I get to rock you. Mommy likes to hum while she is rocking. I will lay my head against yours and you have started to "hum" with me. I wish I could capture your sweet little voice when you do it.
