Birthdays are rough!

You were so excited to go to school on your birthday because you got to wear a crown. You were also excited to take your birthday cupcakes!

But you fell asleep on the way home from school and then again on the way home from your birthday dinner at Cici's. I joked with Daddy birthdays must really wear you out! You had a great birthday!

Happy 6th Birthday, Little Man!

6 years ago at 7:43 a.m., I met my sweet Little Man for the first time. It was a super cold day in snowy Minnesota. I had gotten lost in a tiny 28 bed hospital (yep, somehow I managed). I saw a nurse pushing an isolette down the hallway, so I moved out of the way. She paused and said, "Are you Andrea?". I said, "Yes." She said, "Here is your son!" I started crying and shaking. I still cry every time I tell the story. It was an amazing moment. He was so beautiful and perfect and he still is! Mommy and Daddy love you, Camden Joseph Carter Medley and are proud of the sweet and active little boy you are! Happy 6th Birthday!

Sick Baby Bear

Baby bear has been sick this week. :( Mommy, Grandma and Daddy have all stayed at home a day with him. The doctor thinks it roseola, which is a few days of high fever followed by a rash. You have been pretty miserable and just wanted to be held. It breaks my heart to see you sick.

Family games

I have wanted to start playing games as a family for a while now. So, we bought some games for Camden for Christmas. We had so much fun over break playing Uno, Chutes and Ladders, Operation and Candyland. I did post a picture of Camden's face one day when he wasn't very happy with me. He thought he should get a redo spin in Chutes and Ladders and Mommy said no. He replied, But that's how we play at school with my friends. LOL

Simon, the Elf

Simon, the elf, arrived on our doorstep on November 30th. He has been causing mischief ever since. Camden loved finding him and seeing what he was up to each morning. I am not sure if I took pictures of everything, but here are a few things Simon did.
