Oh, the discoveries!

Todd and Camden brought this delightful discovery to the back door today. They were just so proud of themselves and Camden had lots of interesting ideas about where it might have came from. I was cracking up. These boys!

Double whammy!

Jaden has a stomach bug, so Todd and I split taking the day off with him so that I could go to Camden's Valentine party. Well, I walked into his party and he immediately crawled into my lap and buried his head in my shoulder. :( He felt warm so I had Nurse Mandy take his temperature. Sure enough, 102.1. I called Daddy to come pick him up, since we thought Jaden was feeling a little better. Then, Jaden threw up all over himself and the carseat on the way home. Poor Daddy. I left school early and rushed home to help. Todd and I have been playing some serious man to man defense with both boys tonight. I am ready for spring!

Let's Go Blues!

We were given free tickets to the Blues game at the last minute tonight. We had a great time cheering on the Blues to a 3-1 win over the Arizona Coyotes. Camden loves hockey just like his daddy!

This too shall pass...

So, unfortunately, Jaden is going through a bit of phase right now where he is super attached to Mommy. He stands right beside me and just cried for me to pick him up. He will pull on my pants and grab my leg. It is quite pitiful. If I take him in the living room and put him down, he lays down on the floor and cries. I keep telling myself that 14 months is a little young for a fit, but sometimes I do wonder. He is only happy if I am sitting on the floor in the living room. So, needless to say, I haven't been getting much accomplished until after he goes to bed. But I am trying to remember that this is only a phase and should (hopefully) be over quickly. I am also doing a lot of praying for tolerance.

You gotta be quick.

I love little moments like these between Jaden and Camden, but I have learned you have to be quick to capture them! They don't last long.

A small house....

I need to remember this when I get frustrated because Camden is playing basketball in the hallway, or he and Todd are throwing a football in the living room, or I have to pick up sea creatures in order to take a bath, or I trip over a zillion toys in the hallway, or there are stack of papers everywhere. God ahs always provided for Todd and I and He knows the desires of our hearts. So, I will be grateful for every day we live in our little blue house becuase it makes us a tighter family.
