Easter morning

The Easter bunny visited our house and delivered some eggs and baskets for the boys. Jaden slept until almost 8:00, which is unheard of around here. Camden wanted to wake him up every 15 minutes, but we kept telling him that was not a good idea! He must have moved Jaden's basket and his eggs 10 times waiting on him to wake up. They were both excited about what the Easter Bunny brought them.

Perfect for Petting

Parents as Teachers hosted a petting zoo and it was the first Saturday of beautiful spring weather. The boys had a great time petting and feeding animals, playing(well, for Jaden, eating) in the dirt, blowing bubbles, using using the parachute and painting with water. I loved having Parents as Teachers come visit when Camden was little and now Melissa comes to see Jaden. I love the fun activities they bring and it is just nice to know that he is meeting the milestones.

Easter 2015

We celebrated Easter with everyone on Saturday. We hunted for eggs, opened Easter baskets and ate yummy food as always. Unfortunately, Daddy didn't spend much time with us. He spent the day curled up in a blanket upstairs fighting off the stomach flu. Jaden was more interested in exploring than finding eggs, but his brother was more than happy to find the extras.

Fun Friday

I had planned to take the boys to see the Easter Bunny on Good Friday, but it was a rainy, nasty day. When Aunt Beth suggested we all go swimming at the rec center, I figured that was a much better option! We let Jaden get a nap and then headed up. Camden loves the water and we wondered how Jaden would do. He, of course, loved it as well! It wasn't very crowded and the kids played for a long time. But then, Daddy noticed Camden's lips were a little blue. Poor thing was cold, but didn't want to stop playing. I had to include the last picture with Aunt Beth and J Bear. He got her good!
