Leaf Jumpin"

We took advantage of the last nice day before a big rain to rake leaves in the front yard and the boys had a great time! Jaden tries to do everything his big brother does! I used to love when Dad would rake the leaves and let Beth and I play in them. But then, as we got older, he expected us to help-haha!

Halloween 2015

We had a family theme for our costumes this year and it was so much fun! Camden decided he wanted to be Batman, so of course, Robin was the obvious choice for J Bear. Catwoman was the choice for Mommy. We debated on the Joker for Daddy, but ended up deciding that the Riddler was easier and cheaper. I would love to be able to do this every year, but once Jaden can pick his own costume, I doubt I will be able to talk everyone into matching. Here we are at Pevely Elementary's Trunk or Treat.

When you look at this picture, most of you just see two little pairs of boots. But to me, this picture represents so much more. These two little pairs of boots remind me of the days I longed to be a mommy and God's faithfulness in granting the deepest desire of my heart. I know some of my friends and family are in that same place and I want you to know-He hears you. Don't give up! Our God is amazing and can work miracles. He truly is faithful.

The ever so talented Lindsay Free once again captured our family's photographs last week. The boys do so well for her and she always is so patient with them. Jaden was pretty serious, but I always tell her I am happy with whatever she gets! I have given up on trying for perfection. Reality is much more entertaining!

Grandparent Night

Our school decided to try celebrating Grandparent's Day at night this year. Mommy worked the Crafty Crown table while Papa took Camden around the school. They made a stop by the Scholastic Book Fair and... surprise, surprise, Camden got talked Papa into buying him a book. I am so thankful for the relationship Camden has with his Papa!
