Godparents

Today was McKinley's baptism. Mickie and Adrian asked Todd and I to be her Godparents and we are so honored. I have loved this precious baby girl since the day I knew she was growing inside my best friend's belly. She is an answer to many prayers and I am blessed to have her momma as one of my best friends. I can't wait to watch her grow and see how protective her big boy cousins are of her. Happy Baptism Day, McKinley Louise Goodwin!

Family Hockey Game

Quads, deltoids, biceps, etc...

You have gym every morning at 8:40 a.m. and you LOVE gym. Coach Cappozzo is your favorite although you like Chase's daddy, Coach Goodwin too. You are always showing us the excercises they have you do and telling us what new muscle you are learning about this week. Last night, you were showing us your form for lunges and sit-ups and boy, were you serious about it! Daddy and I had to bite our tongues to keep from grinning!

Baby Bear's BooBoo

There were many tears shed over Baby Bear's first booboo tonight. He tripped over Camden's foot and hit his head on the kitchen table leg. His head immediately swelled up and kinda scared us. Camden cried because he thought it was his fault, Mommy cried because she hurt Camden's feelings and Jaden cried because it hurt!

Swimming party

This year, Mommy thought it was time for a friend birthday for Little Man. Winter birthdays are hard, but swimming in January sounded great. So, we booked a room at the Ste. Gen Community Center. His party was scheduled for the day before his birthday, but of course, the weather in St. Louis doesn't always cooperate. Ice was predicted, so we had to reschedule for that Friday. Camden and his friends had a great time! The parents, on the other hands, had a bit more of a difficult time. It was like a sauna in the pool area. ha! Camden informed me that he would like a swimming party for his next year's party as well. I said, well, buddy, that's a year away. So, let's just wait and see.

Wiggle Worm

Today, Mom and I took Jaden to his one year follow-up with the cardiologist, Dr. Bromberg. They were please to see such a healthy big boy. They wanted to do an ultrasound to check the pinhole in his heart. Needless to say, it is much easier to said than done to hold down an 13 month old. Mom, the technician and I did our best, but he was NOT pleased. We even tried giving him his first sucker which was a sticky mess!! The good news is they were unable to find the pinhole. That combined with how well he is doing means they don't want to see him until he is four! Dr. Bromberg said if everything still looks good at that point, they will release him. God is so awesome!

Is it summer yet?!

I have this picture of Todd and I on my desk at school. It is one of my favorite pictures of the two of us. We both look so happy and have true smiles(not to mention we have tans). The weather has been so cold and nasty lately that I look at this picture and think will summer ever get here? I am ready for it!
