Mother's Day 2015

There are no words to describe how blessed I feel to be the momma of these two precious boys. I remember during our journey with infertility when I longed to be a mommy and would wonder if God would ever grant the deepest desire of my heart. I am so grateful that he did. God's plan is definitely better than our ours and his timing is perfect. I love every part of being a mother. It is by far the hardest job I had ever undertaken and at times, I feel like I am failing miserably But thankfully, His mercies are new every morning and He gives grace where I fail. I love these two sweet boys more than I can say.

Finally!

We finally decided to turn Jaden's car seat around and he is so much happier! This may seem like a little thing, but to a short person like me, getting him up and in the car seat turned around backwards was a challenge! Look how happy he is!

Toilet Trouble Tuesday

So, we have had some trouble with the handle in one of our staff bathrooms for a while now. We have all even joked that someone was going to get stuck in there soon! Well.... it happened... to ME this afternoon!!!

Luckily, Camden had decided to walk with me through the bus line to drop off my kids and was right outside the door. I heard him saying to Schade and Schwartz, "I think my mom is stuck in the bathroom!" Sure enough, when I turned the handle to come out-it just kept turning. Our poor custodian Bill tried for 40 minuted to get me out. The door hinges wouldn't budge and he destroyed the handle trying to get it off!

Camden went and got my phone from my room and slid it under the door, so at least I had some entertainment. They finally had to call the fire department. They used a crow bar and within a minute I was out!

Side note: I just love the repair job they did-we didn't even get a new door!

Time for Tea

Mom invited Sis and I to the annual Mother's Day lunch at Crosspoint. This year was a tea party put on by Royal Celebrations. I am usually not one for what I call froo-froo food, but I actually enjoyed the scones, dainty sandwiches and tarts. I also love spending time with two of my best friends, who just happen to be my momma and big sister. We are so blessed to have the relationship that we do!

Daddy's boy

I walked in yesterday and saw this and my heart just melted! I immediately ran to get my camera to capture this moment. I love that Todd is such a good daddy. He will always take time for his sons and the relationships he is creating with them are priceless! The boys are so incredibly blessed to have such an involved daddy and I pray that they will always be close to him.
